A custom sheath by Condor featuring a embossed Pathfinder Logo. This sheath is 8 3/4 inches long & 2 inches wide with a belt loop attachment. It will accomadate a knife that is about 1 1/2 in wide & 7 1/2 inches long. This will make a perfect sheath for the Old Hickory 7" Butcher Knife.

Well made product, nice think leather. Thought I saw a video with Dave wearing it on his lift side so thought the belt loop would work for me too but it's only for right side. Knife fits good but I am concerned how well it'll hold onto the knife in the fiend without some work of restraint strap.

Ordered 2 of these to go with the 2 Old Hickory knives I also ordered. These are a NECESSARY addition to the knives. Heavy duty leather, embossed with the Pathfinder logo, and a very reasonable price. After applying Fixin' Wax to the sheathes (they look and feel even better now) I appreciate how they "upgrade" the knife/sheath combo. Do yourself a favor and order these, you won't be dissapointed.

The leather is great, but is short on the knife, and could be formed a little better. For a knife that long a swivel belt loop would have worked nice, but all in all for $16 you can't go wrong with this. Bells and whistles cost money and gets it above "common man" thanks Dave

I've been using this sheath for awhile now. I don't do reviews the day I get something. I actually use it for awhile first to see if it holds up. I can tell you I wore this sheath daily for about the first 3 weeks and it is comfortable and is showing little to no wear at all. And I get in and out of my truck a good amount during the day and even with that it is still comfortable. Some sheaths I own get really annoying when trying to get in and out my truck or it just wears them down super quick. Overall this is a GREAT sheath for the money and I highly recommend it!

Works pretty good with the Old Hickory butcher, but better(more secure)with the OH boning knife, that is also a great common man backup knife

This is a nice looking sheath and good quality for the money. It is not formed to the knife like a lot of sheaths are now days. The retention is not great. To fix this I put tape on the edge of my knife, wraped it in seran wrap, then I soaked the sheath in water. I then put the knife in the sheath, wrapped it in a thick towel and put heavy weights on the sheath till it dried. This helped to form the sheath to the knife. It fits better but the retention is not great. Te knife falls out if I turn it upside down and shake it. Still, this is a lot easier than making my own sheath and it does the job for a reasonable amount of money.

This Sheath is very high quality, And fits the Old Hickory Butcher like it was made for it ,lol .I ordered mine the same time as the knife , I mean what's a knife without a sheath. But definitely exceeded my expectations

The Butcher Knife Sheath fits my Old Hickory Knife like a glove! Like everything I order from Self Reliance Outfitters, it is a top notch product and delivery was fast.
Thanks for all you do!

I wish it had a place for my fire striker. This item is perfect just as seen in the pictures.

I just received my Old Hickory knife and sheath combo and the knife fits she sheath in length but does not nearly fit it in width at all. The knife wobbles around in the sheath and since there is not button or flap security feature, the knife is VERY prone to falling out in the bush. If I turn it upside down or even sideways the knife begins to slide out. Im a knife collector so I may just keep the sheath because it is a nice quality item. Im diffidently going to get one made for the Old Hickory knife custom with a security button fashioner. I do not recommend this item for the Old Hickory Knife.
